Bamileke Tribe stools, from the grasslands of Cameroon, have traditionally been prestige objects for tribal royalty and are displayed at festivals and ceremonies as prestige pieces. They are carved from a single piece of wood and have become a famous, highly regarded art form by Western collectors, designers and architects.
